No results available for this meeting due to the heavy rain on the Thursday & Friday leading up to the meeting on Sunday and a grim forecast for race day Sunday , unfortunately we had no choice but  to cancel this race meeting.

The track is in perfect condition and we look forward to seeing everyone at our next meeting on the 23rd August.

Thanks goodness the meeting was cancelled !

I understand it is frustrating for drivers looking forward to racing, however with the weather we have had here in Whitchurch today it was the right thing to do.  One minute the sun was out, the next it was black clouds, thunder and HEAVY rain ! and it all started about 20 minutes after racing would of started had we run the meeting

The committee has now had a long break from running a meeting and we are all raring to go to make August 23rd a brillant race meeting for everyone

The track has had a good rest and will be in perfect condition for some close & fast racing.

Sorry to report that we have had to cancel Sundays meeting, its always a hard decision but we have had persistant rain for most of today so far, this is on top of the rain we had yesterday and with more rain forecast for tonight its not looking good

Any Shropshire League Drivers that have not yet been through pre-nationals scrutineering are invited to the NS track at 11am on Sunday where we will be able to scrutineer your  cars. As you are aware we have had to cancel one meeting already this year due to adverse weather conditions, despite todays rain we are hoping to still be able to run this Sundays meeting, depending on how much rain we get tomorrow a decision will be made on Friday Night. It will be posted on this website and also on the Yorkshire Dales Forum.

Even though the meeting this Sunday clashes with the West Midland League Open the decision has been made by the committee to continue to run this meeting (weather dependant) on the 19th July, this enables our loyal and dedicated members to continue to race for the 1st and 2nd place points trophies which are awarded at the Dinner Dance in November.

I hope that we get plenty of support for the club from the clubs own members, in addition to our own members North Shropshire would like to extend its invitation to come and race at Hinton Hall to any driver, even the drivers who go to the big meeting on Saturday and have a poor day, don’t despair! come and have a go at Whitchurch on Sunday, we are hoping to run longer races with Open and All-Comers racing at the end of the meeting.

Racing starts at 11.30am.
